‘Don’t we already have enough drama queens, attention whores online? Now we have a drama queen cum attention whore who runs 2 blogs? What???!!’
Before you decide to question any further or lash out at me with ‘Why should both your blogs and your need to fulfill a social responsibility warrant my attention?’, let me explain a little. A few years ago, I was thinking to start an online business that caters to the Family and play my part in being a card carrying member of the social responsibility lot.
Not too long ago a dear friend suggested I consider using WordPress to fulfill that need instead since I am dead broke. While I was setting up my blog in WP, I encountered something called Social Vibe. Take note that they have more than 2 sites; Social Vibe #1 where you can register and log in & Social Vibe #2 where I can’t seemed to be able to log in to.. hurmsss… tell me if you can solve this puzzle ya?
Now.. this is where I am stuck. Looking through the list of beneficiary on Social Vibes, my head spilts into 2.. I realised I can’t have 2 Social Vibes beneficiaries T.T”’ in either Blogger or WordPress. Being a part of the rainbow family, both issues are equally important (in my heart, on top of many others).
So at the end of the day, I’ve come to decide that, since both causes are important to me, that I would run 2 blogs instead.
My WordPress will carry The Trevor Project (which caters to suicide prevention among LGBTQ Youth in America)
My Blogger will carry The Staying Alive Foundation (which globally funds HIV/AIDS prevention projects initiated by youths)
And this sums up the reason as to why I need to run 2 blogs and possibly need double your attention. Please, do click away and help these 2 very important causes (at no cost to you) ok?
